While editing the first installments of the REELZ biography series, In My Own Words, Producers Michelle & Bill Katz are supporting their favorite local business, Abba Padre Bikes and Books in Culver City, CA.
“They are a family run shop that’s been around for ages. Their little shop is packed with, as the name would suggest, both bikes and books. They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and extremely reasonably priced. We purchased used bikes for our children when they were younger and get all our repairs done there. Unlike a big chain we know the money we spend there is going to support the family that we’ve gotten to know over the years. They represent the best of small businesses and we’ve been pleased to utilize their services for close to 30 years.”

“One of the NON-PROFIT organizations we’ve supported for decades is the American Red Cross and now our donations are even more valuable than ever.
Giving blood every eight weeks or so is an incredibly easy and gratifying thing to do, especially since we have both tested positive for Covid-19 and for the resulting antibodies. Although we never experienced serious symptoms, we are now able to donate badly needed plasma to help patients with Coronavirus recover.”
